The formation of Sentiment-O-Grams occurred in August 2011 between husband and wife singing duo Matt and Ellie after they discovered there was not a singing telegram service that was readily available, classy, or that did not entail a telegram being delivered without a gorilla suit, chicken suit or hairy fairy costume. So that’s how we started.
Being sentimental fools themselves, they decided that delivering heart felt sentimental songs to recipients was a more genuine conveyance of the customer’s intentions. Hence, Sentiment-O-Grams are singing telegrams delivered with sentiment without the silly costumes.
Before each delivery, Ellie encourage’s her staff to say to one another, “Let’s go make someone’s day”‘. This underpins their business ethos with the intent to bring joy and thoughtfulness to others alongside a quality customer service. The singing telegram experience begins by simply choosing either a song from the extensive repertoire on offer, or by selecting a tailored telegram for a more personal touch. The latter involves requesting a song or liaising with the customer to produce a song that resonates with and reflects the recipient. The Sentiment-O-Gram team rely on the customers input so they can write a song tailored to the individual’s life story, ensuring a personal musical arrow lands on target with supreme accuracy to the heart!!!
As performers in the local music scene, they understood just how difficult it could be sustaining an income from original live music performance, and they had many musical friends in the same situation. The aim was to support and provide some work and extra income for others, and to continue to expand and support other artists. They have a nest of very talented performers both singing and instrumental, with a breadth of combined experience that spans over decades.

Aligning with their aim to collaborate, support and expand the number of local artists on their roster, Sentiment-O-Grams were proudly selected to participate at Darebin Music Feast. This was a unique opportunity to engage the community, and support and promote local musicians by delivering roaming singing telegram performances.
As of 2015, SentimentOGrams has expanded with teams of singers and musicians across Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Tweed Coast, Northern Rivers NSW and Brisbane.
